WATCH MY STEPPAGE

Yorkville, Toronto

I took yesterday's blog content and shaped it like a poem. I hope you like it.

Along the waterway

Geese, calm at the bay

Watch my steppage go west

Each step being a rest

On Kingston’s King Street

Each step is a beat

With it I can see

All that’s in front of me

Edifices – colonial

Sidewalks – congenial

For people like Sean

It is his town

A litigation lawyer

While I’m an explorer

An obvious monk, too

Of which there’s few

Sean and I connected

Together we reflected

His vocation validated

My life renunciated

We’re confirmed friends

Where the trail bends

Now the sun gently dives

So darkness arrives

Where merges river and lake

Flirtations are taking shape

At juncture St. Lawrence/Lake Ontario

There’s no better scenario

By the student bench of lovers

A cool breeze encourages cuddlers

There’s coincidence on calendar

An influence of a romantic calibre

This is the time to think pure

Against red skies, a pristine allure

We recall the great dalliance

In a mystic-shaded ambience

Sri Krishna is in a ring

With gopis in full swing

The sharat season is upon us

This, our minds must harness
