A FOUR STOP DAY

Sunday, August 30th, 2026

MIssissauga/Hamilton/Niagara Falls

Yes, in one day a traveling monk can cover quite a distance and hopefully get something meaningfully done at each rest stop. Those different stops, and I’m sure my companions for today, will agree, that we touched some hearts. In truth, me and fellow travellers cannot take any credit. The only task we can achieve is to carry a message as precious as can be that we have grasped from some extraordinary place. We can only thank the previous messengers and the world from which they came.

In Mississauga before a crowd of Krishna practitioners in Laksmivan and Darshini’s home, Krishna Prem and I spoke from the teachings of Rishab regarding “don’t do as the hogs and dogs do.” In other words pay attention to the investment of the soul. We fed some words. We were fed food — the best.

In Hamilton we dropped in at “Immersive Om” a yoga studio run by a brother/sister team and delivered mantra power. Coming all the way from Collingwood, north of this destination, was Jai Chaitanya and Justine, who kick started a two hour program for kirtan, a nice job done. Krishna Prem led a sweet melody as a follow up. Finally, I took the spot and got all on the floor to dance, hoping to get close to a trance. Those present were a mix of experienced and newbies. Such fun!

In Niagara, where bhaktas meet weekly at “Fireman’s Hall,” a great group indulged in hearing about the glories of the powerhouse we know as Balarama, who happens to be a member of the Godhead. If anything, he truly represents spirit strength. This is something those on the spiritual path really hanker towards.

Our finishing touches to a grand day was a quick trip to The Falls. It is now night. It is dark. It is dark. It is perfect.
