I have always been a lover of Jesus. This nice Jewish boy who lived 2 millennia ago left us some really good lessons on life. December 25th is supposed to mark his birth. That may be questionable as to its accuracy. One thins is for sure, his birth has been upstaged by a fictitious, and to some extent, clown-like character of sorts. That's good old Santa, fabricated by the Coca-Cola company in 1931. He's not even a century old, and look how he's taken hold of the public.
There was a real Santa, origins from Asia Minor – a St. Nicolas – a pious children's favourite, carrying a profile rather Jesus-like. He was an archbishop from the 3rd century AD. Too bad he got pushed aside by a reincarnated holly jolly fellow. The same thing has occurred with Jesus who's dismissed by a whole bunch of people who don't care to be duped. Christmas, in many ways, has became a farce.
A pharmacist, by the name of John Pemberton, produced the syrup for Coca-Cola, which attempts to replace health food and drinks. Coca-Cola, which is rich in processed sugar and caffeine, causes all kinds of illnesses. What Christmas has become IS an illness – a disease of greed!
That might sound harsh, but it is a fact that 20th century folks, and now the millennial gens, are being robbed of a beautiful truth that started form a nice kid from Bethlehem.
