Prairie Power

Winnipeg/Toronto
Naresh was a great guy who drove me to the Winnipeg Airport. The sun had risen, but the clouds wouldn't reveal. It was a meagre 5 degrees, but fine for me. Anything above zero is great for walking. I arrived at an anxiety free time at my gate number.
I dwelt on the weekend past. Also being the Thanksgiving weekend, pleasant and passive, our AGM sessions went well. There was a demonstration of Prairie Power. Our hosts of ISKCON Manitoba were the nicest accommodaters. Empowering people of bhakti came through with inspiring presentations. No doubt there is shakti in the Prairies. When you think about the mighty polar bear in Manitoba's north and on a breezy day in the country you can imagine the powerful bison grazing in the tall fresh grasses of the past. It would be nice to see some return of that.
At free time some of us went to “The Forks” in the evening where nerves are calmed with Assiniboine right next to you. On Sunday evening we had the pleasure to be with the trees in all their exoticism at the botanic gardens called “The Leaf.” Very impressive! Tarun invited us to his home in Loretta where a few lady bugs managed to squeeze in. I cautioned him, "I'm a monk. Keep those ladies away from me." The youth had come to learn about the topic ‘trust.’
A great time!
Now we are being paged to depart for Toronto, which lies at the north coast of Lake Ontario. That's ONTARIO, Moniseur Trump. I caught an evening walk with Uddhava through Rosedale.
