THE MOVIE STAR
Hey there, glamorous movie star
Larger than life you virtually are
You've got those gasp-worthy good looks
Your stellar performances are real hooks
Drawing fans from far and wide
Blind somewhat to a dark flipside
They have your full trusty attention
Reverence you've gained like royal intention
Yet life didn't quite start out that way
It was a hard struggle until one day
Walking away from washing dishes at a greasy eatery
A breakthrough came like changing a battery
Your career kicked off under those bright lights
Paparazzi began to reach some newer heights
A private life means you must wear dark shades
To the exception of parties and partners as accolades
Your mansion is worth a mint, in the millions
And the ways of mobility for a ‘glitter’ civilian
Are your cars, maybe yacht, perhaps plane
Accumulations where happiness is hard to contain?
That massive screen established your fame
You've become a god and for yourself made a name
You are a leader with incredible influence
Some spiritual steps would be a good pursuance
Let's take a sample from the character 007
Advocating illicit love, love not from heaven
Not a great role model, no, it falls flat
Misleading, misdirecting, and all of that
A profound message from the Vedas states
A truth that carries some absolute weight
“Whatever leading persons do, commoners follow”
As a star offscreen, are you teaching something wholesome or hollow?
