LOOK AFTER OTHERS AND YOU

Wednesday, August 5th, 2026

Midtown, Toronto

Devotional life encompasses many things such as interacting with the public. It also involves looking after yourself. The last two days I was encouraged to make contact with the cool fresh water. The members of Bhakti Academy were urging me to go for some recreation. It is important to take care of these bodies as they are useful tools in Krishna's service.

We jumped into Lake Ontario by Woodbine Beach where our dear Gurudev walked in 1975. And secondly we found ourselves happily doing more than splashing each other in one of the many lakes by Huntsville. These have been very hot days, so there's no better way to address heat than to hydrate internally and externally.

Further to my point, I was able to lead some classes, whether online or in person. I will have to admit my stupidity. I was so immersed in the water play two nights ago I totally forgot about my Tuesday night Gita commitment. It is not that difficult to forget. I do like to consider myself to be an informant. I like to share the message of Krishna and to inform people of upcoming events for higher consciousness. It has been a good time to let people know that in a short time the annual MANtra Retreat set for October 2, 3, 4, a weekend. The event is for guys who want to enhance their Krishna Consciousness. We are in our 9th year and it has been going good. I provide kirtan and entertainment. The venue is West Virginia. You can look it up or give me a call. 647-530-4273
