Arjuna Sakha is one of my students from Edmonton. At the eve of Gita Jayanti, the anniversary of when the greatest dialogue that ever occurred was spoken, Arjuna Sakha sent his poem to commemorate this holy event. I'm taking the liberty to present this for your contemplation.
In the battlefield
Arjuna stands still
Filled with great doubt
His heart starts to thrill
Krishna, his guide
With wisdom so deep
Speaks for the soul
A lesson to keep
"Fight for your duty
Let go of the gain
The body will perish
But the soul knows no pain"
"Act without selfishness
Let love be your way
In every action
Find peace every day?
The Gita unfolds
Lessons so bright
Let us follow it
Seek truth from delight
