WHY CAN'T GOD BE BLUE?

WHY CAN’T GOD BE BLUE?

Look up at a gorgeous sky

Something for a curious eye

It’s so clear, so clean

Expansive and not lean

There’s nothing larger than this space

Holding countless entities in place

Planets, luminaries, each star

Galaxies suspended from so far

There’s no greater envelope

I think not – nope

When evil preys on the mind

A view of the sky makes one unwind

It’s comparable to a stream

It purges, it’s so pristine

Let’s continue to wonder

What about that awesome colour

At night – a pitch black

When dawn and dusk crack

An orange, peach, pink, or red

An upper zone appearing bled

By day it’s grey or blue

All tones are in that hue

Can anything be greater?

Could blue be the colour of our Creator?

If we stop it right there –

The question in the air

Then, the definitive colour

Says something of its power

The zone above is elemental

Surely, then, it’s fundamental

And when there’s a base

We then have a case

A case for God

Though it might be odd

The sky being basic blue

A thought you might pursue

LOOK UP INTO THE SKY.
LOOK UP INTO THE SKY.
