Stouffville/Milton

I was happy to announce that now approved is another ISKCON project in the once village location, then town, now city of 50,000 people in Stouffville. The next step is to receive charitable status, and that will happen in approximately six months.

PICTURESQUE STOUFFVILLE.

Stouffville runs the acclaimed Strawberry Festival every summer that draws the crowds. The congregants at today's ISKCON gathering at a moderately sized plaza unit were telling me about it. This group appeared to me as strawberries – colourful and sweet. Mostly, you have young to middle-aged families participating. And today's message was about the serious approach to yoga from Chapter 6 of the Gita.

“One should sit using kusa grass (which protects from the cold as an insulator and has pure properties). One may also use a hide for softness such as a deer skin. The seat should be neither too high nor low. Also favourable is a secluded locations away from distractions.”

The above procedure aids in one’s yoga meditation.

My second visitation for the day was at our ISKCON centre in Milton where the Sunday school was cancelled in order for the students to hear from a Swami (me) giving class about giving. This was a second batch of strawberries.
