WHO are the cast & crew?
Dedicated souls of all ages, genders, and experience levels. Cast & crew vary depending on location & availability - some are local to the area of the venue & those with specialized skills may come from abroad.
Performers are chosen for their enthusiasm, talent, ability to follow direction, & rhythm - lots & lots of rhythm!
WHAT are the plays about?
Whether based on stories of Vedic India, or modern themes reflecting ancient wisdom, the plays explore the light & dark aspects of existence, evoking hope & optimism in the face of challenges.
Summoning a broad range of emotions - from joyful & hilarious to heart-wrenching & chilling - THE WALKING MONK also stimulates with compelling soundtracks, colourful costumes, & innovative dance & movement pieces.
WHY is it non-profit?
As a monk, everything BHAKTIMARGA SWAMI does is a loving service to the Creator. His calling is to uplift & bring people together for wholesome common goals.
Participants dedicate their time in exchange for a fun & exhilarating experience that satisfies the soul - & cheering crowds, of course!
Venues are generally provided by the hosts who also sponsor travel, accommodation, & meals. Donations are accepted & are used towards production costs.
